Medical Students Celebrate Academic Success with a Musical Tea Party in Russia

The Department of Anatomy and Operative Surgery held an unusual event of scientific, cultural and leisure direction for first-year students of supervised groups and anatomy club members in the "Challenge" club.

The results of the work of students for the academic year on scientific and educational activities were summed up. Active members of the circle were noted: Polina Rudenko, Valeria Rotko, Danil Velichko, Ruslana Grigorieva, Anastasia Zadumova, Yulia Majorova, Vladislav Praskurin, Gleb Popov, Elizaveta Ibragimova, Seseg Tsydypova, Sevda Mamedova, Odina Akhmadova (1st year), Alexandra Klepikova, Maxim Ermakov (2nd year), Elizaveta Romanova (school No 16 of the city of Blagoveshchensk).

An anatomical quiz was also held, the winners of which were 12 students. Senior lecturer of the department Nadezhda Petrovna Ambrosyeva made a report on classical music.

"Classical music is a powerful tool for improving health and brain function. I advise you to listen to it as often as possible, because it is this music that stimulates both hemispheres, develops memory, reduces stress levels and helps to recover from exertion," said Nadezhda Petrovna.

At the end of the meeting, to the sounds of music by Antonio Vivaldi, "The Four Seasons. Summer", Frederic Chopin's "Rain Waltz", Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's "Waltz of the Flowers", Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Symphony No 40" - a tea party with homemade cakes took place.
