The educational practice “Introductory Practice – Practice for Obtaining Primary Professional Skills and Abilities. General Patient Care of Therapeutic and Surgical Profile” has begun for first-year students studying under the English-language program “First Steps into the Profession.” This practical exposure highlights why many international students choose to study MBBS in Russia, especially those planning their journey under Russia MBBS admission 2026.

The head of the practice is Professor Iraida Georgievna Menshikova, Head of the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases. It allows students to immerse themselves in the medical environment and acquire basic practical skills under the guidance of experienced teachers. Today, we discussed organizational matters, introduced students to the rules for filling out medical documentation, and demonstrated the basics of cardiopulmonary resuscitation on mannequins,” said Elena Vladimirovna.

Over the next few days, students will continue their training at the simulation center of the medical academy, practicing skills on phantoms and dummies. This hands-on approach ensures better preparation before moving to clinical training at the Amur Regional Clinical Hospital. To further assist them, second-year students fluent in English will supervise the internship,” said Olga Ivanovna Katina, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.
